 Reshoot

I have decided to do a reshoot since the shots taken were not enough.

I will need to make it relate to the network channel, by including both action on sport on each of the 2 ident. 

Some of the shots I will also take this time will be:

First Ident

- Shots of running from across the street

- Shots of looking both ways

- Shots of person chasing

- Shot of running from leg angle past the camera

- Shots of door handle turning

- Shots of side door opening and character running

- Shots of hopping over the kitchen window

- Shots of then relaxing on the couch

- Use firework transition and visual for voice over 

First Ident Script

Second Ident

- Shots of the 2 running into the room

- One hopping over the kitchen counter

- Shot of setting up the table 

- Shots of taking both mini table tennis rackets and a ball

- Shots of one character throwing One mini racket to the other, and they catch

- Shots of ball in hand raising up into camera view

- Blur general shot of 2 playing table tennis for voiceover 


I could possibly change to completing one ident 60 second ident than making 2

Work In Progress Ident 1 This is a rough draft of the first ident that I have edited, it's duration goes for up to 40 seconds.     Currently within this I have not implemented any sound effects. I've applied visual effects such as blur and opacity for the picture. The picture I have selected has a transparent background which fits with the overall visual. I have used keys to make certain and edits go frame to frame, allowing for gradual edits such as a fade in or out. For the first ident I have decided to reshoot some shots as well as add more storyline and shots to the ident, to make it more engaging. Resulting in this ident having more than enough footage to both be of effective use and last the intended 30 seconds I originally aimed for. The purpose of it is to be released before the launch date of a new product, to make audiences and individuals aware, by informing, educating, entertaining to eventually sell the new product. This is to increase sales, popularity and interest to the new final product. Audio visual promos can be used in many areas such as movies in cinemas, trailers, gameplays, news, radios, online use. Idents are also an example of audio visual promos. Online use is good as it can be shared across different users very fast. Music promos also exist but are considered shorter. They can contain a teaser of the actual product itself which could develop curiosity amongst interest audiences.

Audience Research

  Audience Research  I have finished extracting the draft videos of my 2 pieces, and have shown them for audience feedback to gain a possible improvement. My teacher has discussed with me that my shots for my first ident was not enough, and that I may have to reshoot for more shots, as well as to implement more actions and scenes within the ident. Since my first ident is based on action I initially thought it would be good to implement action themed conventions in my ident. I have been told that I can use this opportunity to also write more in my script and improve already written areas to make them better and more convenient. At that time I had not researched or implemented any music, which I have now been told to start researching, choosing and implementing into my ident.
